Hi, I’m Dr. Jessica Wu. I believe that every woman is a “natural beauty.” We all have assets that can be subtly enhanced to make us look and feel our absolute best—even unstoppable. Twenty years ago, I started practicing in Los Angeles as a board-certified cosmetic and clinical dermatologist with lots of goals in mind, but one major objective: To make my patients—both women and men—not just happy, but amazed with the results we can achieve together.

Why Visit My Office?

Many doctors in Los Angeles tailor their practices to suit their needs. I started my private practice in 2000 with a different approach – to prioritize the people I see every day.

Here's what I believe:

  • Doctors should be hands-on.

Unlike other high profile MDs, I don't rely on nurses and physician assistants to examine you or perform treatments.  If you make an appointment with a Harvard-trained dermatologist - like myself - you should see the doctor who earned that degree.

  • Trusted relationships don't come out of 10 minute appointments.

I will spend as long as it takes to get to know you, answer your questions and make the best recommendations.  And if that happens to be a treatment I don't perform, I will refer you to another trusted expert.

  • Each treatment should be personalized because every face is different.

I look closely at your bone structure and the way you move your features before I use any injectable. I'm equally discerning about lasers, peels, and skincare products.

  • I care about the whole you.

I may ask you about your diet, your workout routine and your medical history. All of these factors can profoundly affect your skin's health and appearance.

  • It's not appropriate for doctors to push products.

If you're interested in new skincare suggestions, I will happily steer you to the products I love because I have tested them myself and trust their efficacy - whether they are my own products or from the drugstore.

  • I truly love what I do.

So much so that I want to share my experience. As a volunteer teacher of cosmetic dermatology at the University of Southern California, I get to inspire and mentor students and young doctors in training.
