Dr. Wu has built two companies around the same observation.
Doctors were leaving medicine, and patients were being asked to carry their own information from one specialist to the next. Both come out of twenty five years of watching that happen from inside an exam room.
WUME
A Beverly Hills medical practice where dermatology and women's health physicians know one another, speak directly, and coordinate care around the patient. Dr. Wu continues to see patients there for medical and cosmetic dermatology.
All patient care now takes place at WUME, including appointments, prescription requests, and questions about treatment.

Residen
Dr. Wu co-founded Residen with Florin Toader after watching colleagues leave medicine, worn down by overhead and administration rather than by patient care. They interviewed hundreds of physicians before building anything.
Residen gives independent doctors modern clinical rooms by the day, with no long lease and no build out, and uses its own technology to handle scheduling, space and inventory. Open in Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles.
