Do Your Doctors Talk?

When I refer patients to another specialist, I don’t just send them into the wild.

I recently hosted a happy hour to introduce my new associates and reconnect with doctors I’ve trusted for years; some for decades.

These relationships mean I can text an introduction or get my patients in when they need to be seen right away. And I do the same for their patients.

This is old-fashioned, and increasingly rare. But it’s the kind of medicine I believe in.
