FEED YOUR FACE THIS THANKSGIVING
This Thanksgiving π¦, #feedyourface with foods that are better for your SKIN & your BODY (from my book, FEED YOUR FACE, on Amazon).
WHO WANTS PIE? π₯§ I love to eat pie, and many of you know that I love to bake pies. I was born in Texas so my favorite is Pecan Pie, but itβs very HIGH in SUGAR π¬. This year my family is doing Berry Pie, which is lower in sugar.
β
οΈ Berries are high in Vitamin C and ELLAGIC ACID, which helps make strong COLLAGEN. β΄οΈ Tip: Use the really ripe berries β so you can add less sugar!
HEALTHIER MASHED POTATOES π₯. When making mashed potatoes, leave the SKIN ON. Itβs a good source of fiber to help nourish your gut microbiome & prevent bloating. Also, cut back on the milk & butter. Dairy is inflammatory = NOT good for Acne, Wrinkles, & Rashes.
LIGHTER STUFFING. Traditional stuffing is hearty & delicious, but it can be heavy & dense. Lighten it up by replacing more of the bread with veggies such as celery, carrots, squash π₯ππ . It will fill you up faster and the antioxidants are good for your skin and your body.
