New Sunscreen Ingredient

U.S. sunscreens are finally getting newer UV filters like Bemotrizinol (Tinosorb S), an ingredient that’s been used safely in Europe and Asia for years.

I even picked up a Bemotrizinol sunscreen while in Hong Kong recently so I could try it myself before recommending it to my patients.

Until these newer filters become more widely available, my advice is simple:
☀️ Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day.
✌️ Use two finger lengths for your face.
🧴 Reapply consistently.
