Here’s what most people don’t know: Many offices— even with a doctor’s name on the door—are owned by corporations. Especially in dermatology, GI, ophtalmology, and even oncology. Some doctors must hit quotas or risk losing income.

That means overbooked schedules and less time for you.

Most doctors are doing their best. But the system is stacked against them.

I’ve kept my own practice independent for 25 years. Every week, companies try to buy it— but I say no. My standards for care, service, and integrity are too high. (If you’re my patient, you know!)
