THE CUTTING EDGE

What’s new in Lasers & Regenerative Dermatology 👇🏻

I spent last weekend geeking out at the Controversies & Conversations in Lasers & Cosmetic Surgery: An Advanced Symposium meeting in Dana Point.

A few hundred Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons – including my mentors as well as younger doctors I mentor -- debating the optimal treatments & protocols to bring back to our offices.

I’ve been using lasers & injectables since 1996 (almost 30 years!) and I continue learning—it’s the only way to give my patients the best, cutting edge care.

Hot topics from the meeting:

💥 UltraClear 2910 nm laser for wrinkles; faster healing and less risk than C02 laser

💥 Botox for scars including pre- and post-facelift (I’ve been using this for scars the past several months – great results!)

💥 Risk of blindness after filler: #1- Nose #2- Forehead #3-Glabella (between the brows).
➡️ Careful who you choose for your injections.

💥 Keep dogs, cats away from freshly lasered skin. Cases if infections from a type of Staph that is in 30% of cats & dogs.
